  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil), chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and chop the vegetables into uniform bite-sized pieces. Ensure they are dry before cooking to prevent splattering.
  • Heat the Oil/Butter: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil or butter over medium-high heat until it shimmers (if using butter, wait until foaming subsides).
  • Sauté the Garlic (Optional): Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Add the Vegetables
  • Sauté the Vegetables: Cook the vegetables, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender-crisp. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the vegetables and your desired level of doneness.
