This Berry Blast Smoothie is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It’s perfect for a quick breakfast, a refreshing snack, or a post-workout refuel. Feel free to customize the ingredients to suit your taste and nutritional needs!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • A handful of spinach (optional for added nutrients)
  • Ice cubes (optional for a thicker consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Wash the fresh berries thoroughly. If you’re using frozen berries, there’s no need to thaw them.
    • Peel the banana and break it into chunks for easier blending.
  2. Blend the Base:
    • In a blender, add the mixed berries and banana chunks. These fruits are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and natural sweetness, making them the perfect base for your smoothie.
  3. Add Creaminess:
    • Scoop in the Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt adds a creamy texture and is a great source of protein and probiotics.
    • Pour in the almond milk. You can adjust the amount of milk based on your preferred smoothie thickness.
  4. Sweeten It Up:
    • Drizzle in the honey or maple syrup if you like your smoothie a bit sweeter. This step is optional, as the fruit usually provides enough natural sweetness.
  5. Boost the Nutrition:
    • Sprinkle in the chia seeds. Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein.
    • If you want to add more greens to your diet, throw in a handful of spinach. Spinach blends well and is almost tasteless, but it adds a nutritional punch.
  6. Blend Until Smooth:
    • Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
  7. Taste and Adjust:
    • Taste your smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness if necessary. Add more milk if it’s too thick, or more honey if it’s not sweet enough.
  8. Serve Immediately:
    • Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing and nutritious Berry Blast Smoothie!
