Vegetable Pulao


Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Skewers (if grilling)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Paneer:
    • In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, and salt to taste.
    • Add paneer cubes to the marinade. Coat the paneer cubes evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Cook Paneer:
    • Heat oil in a grill pan or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
    • Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers (if using). Place the skewers on the grill pan or skillet.
    • Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the paneer cubes are golden brown and slightly charred.
  3. Serve Hot:
    • Remove from heat and serve paneer tikka hot with green chutney or yogurt dip.
